Joanna Marszalska psycholog

I am a business psychologist, therapist and coach. I have been working with people for over 10 years.

I am a graduate of psychology at the Jagiellonian University and Management in IT at the Warsaw School of Economics. Certified Scrum Master. I run the practice Psychologists on Dawn.

I am constantly developing and improving my competences through courses, trainings, participation in global and national conferences.

In my therapeutic practice I am guided by the principles of the Code of Ethics of a Psychologist of the Polish Psychological Association, and I subject my work to regular supervision.

I have gone through my own individual psychotherapy and coaching. A holistic approach to the human being – as a unity of mind, body and spirit – is important to me.

I feel responsible for building a business culture in Poland – according to the principle – man first. As part of this responsibility, I conduct trainings in business organisations on mental health and management. Among others, topics related to stress, leadership, support for women in business.

I work therapeutically with couples, teenagers over 16 and adults. Also in English and online.

I help people who:

  • Experience anxiety, fear, depression.
Struggle with lack of control over anger, outbursts, aggression
  • Are experiencing long-term and high levels of stress, often associated with a sense of high responsibility to others – team, clients, colleagues, staff, family.
  • They are going through constant change – and the pressure of trying to adapt to the pace and volume – is already overwhelming them.
  • They have had a lot of external success – internally struggling with psychological distress (low self-esteem, panic attacks, anxiety, guilt, neurosis, constant doubt)
  • They often feel burdened by high financial risks and the consequences of making difficult decisions.
  • The reason for their distress is professional pressure;
  • Their professional difficulties spill over into interpersonal relationships – in the family, in relationships and at work.
  • They have difficulty coping with a currently difficult life or work situation.

What I love about my profession: The truthfulness and authenticity of the therapeutic relationship. When, in a safe atmosphere, I can see a person as they really are – with weaknesses and strength. I love it when clients feel the changes and the effects of our work together make a real difference to their lives, improving their quality of life. This gives me meaning and professional fulfilment and motivates me to continue working and developing.

In my work it is important to me: to give support in therapy sessions with my clients and to take it – in supervisions from supervisors. I supervise the processes with my clients with experienced supervisors, which reinforces the feeling for the clients and for me that I am helping in the best possible way.

I am happy to support you: In your goals. I accompany my clients on every part of their life journey – when they invite me to do so. This is always a great honour for me.

I feel happy when: In everyday life. When a stranger smiles at me on the street for no reason, I hear something nice – e.g. a cordiality for myself in a conversation between people I pass. When I’m drinking my favourite green tea and I can look into the distance through the window.
